Eljap was established in 1999 by Mr. Jan Nuijen, former co-owner of the Dutch nut and tropical fruit company Orlando Noten, Pinda’s en Zuidvruchten B.V. Candied ginger was always a product of paramount importance to Orlando. Eljap imports the candied ginger by full container loads directly from the factories.
